    Hello,

I am a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison who is working for UW’s International Student Services office. We are doing some research to help improve our “Global Cafe” program for the fall. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions about your “International Coffee Hour” program.

How many people typically attend International Coffee Hour?

Are attendees a good mix of international and domestic students, scholars, and employees? Do F-2/J-2 dependents ever come?

How is the program structured? How do you keep students engaged and foster interaction during the program?

What successes and failures have you experienced? Has student feedback influenced the program’s design?

Any information or recommendations you have would be greatly appreciated!

    Best,
